Frosti Pop was founded in early 2025 by Eric Jr., building on a family legacy that began well over a decade earlier. His father, Eric Sr., entered the novelty ice cream business in 2010, gaining his start while working for a company founded in 1959 with multiple locations, in Indiana & other states. Under the mentorship of the company’s original owner, who had decades of experience since before 1959, Eric Sr. learned every aspect of the business from the ground up.
Over time, Eric Sr. began operating and managing all aspects of an ice cream business himself—from delivering to gas stations and neighborhood routes, to handling inventory, customer service, and everything in between. It became more than a job; it became a way of life.
His sons grew up in it.
From a young age, Eric Jr. and his brothers worked alongside their father—helping during school breaks, vacations, and weekends—not as formal workers, but as kids soaking up the experience, bonding with their dad, and falling in love with the joy that ice cream brings. That nostalgia and passion became part of who they are.
After stepping away for a few years, the family’s enthusiasm was rekindled. Eric Jr. saw how much his father still believed in the magic of the ice cream truck and decided it was time to bring that vision back—with a fresh, focused approach. With limited funds, family support, and all the knowledge Eric Sr. had gathered over the years, Frosti Pop was born.
Frosti Pop isn’t just another truck—it’s the result of a lifetime of shared memories, hands-on experience, and family teamwork. It’s a clean, beautifully branded truck that brings nostalgia, good vibes, and professional service wherever it goes. You’ll recognize it by the upbeat oldies music, the soda jerk uniform, and the warm welcome from a team that genuinely cares.
We serve prepackaged treats with professionalism and heart, combining the charm of the past with the tools of today. Our mission is simple: to bring back joy, one smile and one ice cream at a time.
We believe in giving back—whether it’s supporting animal organizations or donating to children’s causes. Even though we’re just getting started again, we’re committed to doing good wherever we can.
We serve all of Central Indiana—Indianapolis, Kokomo, Bloomington, Richmond, Columbus and everywhere in between.
